Objectives in spending PPG:

To continue to close the gap between lower attaining pupil premium children and their peers

To raise self-esteem and develop engagement and enjoyment of pupil premium children

To develop ability to negotiate and solve problems without aggression and develop awareness of behavioural expectations

Links to SDP:

To continue to improve the quality of learning for all pupils across the Federation

To continue to build a reading culture in our federation and promote reading for pleasure.

To continue to develop and use the outdoor learning environment.

  • Additional TA hours to enable small group teaching and targeted support
  • Short Stay school subscription – individual support, behaviour training for federation 
  • Additional MSA 
  • Forest Schools resources and training 
  • Staff release for pupil progress meetings x 3 per year

Objectives in spending PPG:

To close the gap between lower attaining pupil premium children and their peers, particularly in writing

To raise self-esteem and develop engagement and enjoyment of pupil premium children

To increase the number pupil premium children in EYFS who attain GLD

Links to SDP:

To continue to improve the quality of learning for all pupils across the Federation

To promote a reading culture in our federation and promote reading for pleasure.

To continue to develop the provision for EYFS children across the Federation

On the whole Pupil premium children made good progress across the federation in reading, writing and maths.                                                                              

Catfield: 11 children

29% of school population. Tracking for pupil premium children 15-16 showed overall value added for whole school writing was 99.99. In maths value added was 100.2 and in reading it was 100.27. (Pupil Asset)

Sutton: 10 children

19% of school population

Tracking for pupil premium children 15-16 showed overall value added for whole school writing was 101. In maths value added was 99.7 and in reading it was 99.87. (Pupil Asset)

Hickling: 3 children

12% school population

Tracking for pupil premium children 15-16 showed overall value added for whole school writing was 98.5. In maths value added was 99 and in reading it was 99.5. (Pupil Asset)

 

2016-17 Estimated allocation of £34,000 across federation

To be used for:

  • Additional TA hours to enable small group teaching and targeted support

    • Visits – e.g. theatre groups, safety awareness assemblies
